He sat in awe watching the boxing ring just a few feet away.
The vociferous crowd intimidated his tiny 5 year old wiry frame.
He suddenly missed his mother, his loving, caring, doting mother.
He wished she was sitting with him right now.
She would’ve cuddled him, smiled and put him at ease.
She was such a gentle woman.
But he knew she had to be at someplace else today.
He saw the two boxers exchange the customary fist bumps.
The bell rang!
He saw his mother land the first powerful blow on her opponent.
He jumped and cheered ….
